Kintoreite: PbFe+++3(PO4)2(OH,H2O)6

Comments: Greenish-yellow kintoreite crystals on limonite and or goethite. The specimen was originally labelled lusungite in the early 1990's and reinvestigation of the specimen showed it to be kintoreite.
Location: Kintore Open Cut, Broken Hill, NSW, Australia. Scale: Specimen Size 3x6 cm.

Comments: Catamarcaite (Ct) in contact with luzonite (Luz), unnamed Cu8Fe2ZnGe2S12 (un), sphalerite (Sp) and fine-grained chalcocite - covellite (Cc/Cv). (CanMin v44:1481).
Location: Bornite-rich ore from old dumps near the La Rosario vein, Capillitas epithermal deposit, Catamarca Province, Argentina. Scale: See Image.
